BMW is taking advantage of the ever-popular technology of the iPod Touch and iPhone. BMW announced their support for the new iPod Out feature that will provide BMW drivers with an easy-to-operate way of using their own iPod Touch and iPhone in future BMW vehicles.

In this new BMW iPod and iPhone feature, BMW entertainment systems will display and control music playback of the iPod and iPhone directly in the vehicle’s main display.

iPod Out features represent a new milestone in consumer electronic device vehicle integration. Future vehicles equipped with this technology will be able to become accustomed more quickly to new versions of the iPod Touch and iPhone.
